Mixin’ it Up: Grey Goose L’Orange Summer Tea

Mixin’ it Up: Grey Goose L’Orange Summer Tea

For my money there is no better vodka available on the market then that produced by Grey Goose.  Grey Goose is the epitome of fine vodka and it boasts it in spades with crisp clean notes and a very smooth finish.  Their L’Orange is no exception and can easily be served either straight, on the rocks, or mixed in a cocktail.  Here is the perfect cocktail recipe featuring Grey Goose L’Orange just in time for the last few hot days of summer.

1 ½ Parts Grey Goose L’Orange

3 Parts freshly brewed iced tea

¼ Part simple syrup

4 Mint leaves

In the bottom of the shaker, muddle mint leaves and simple syrup.  Add remaining ingredients, ice and shake vigorously.  Pour ice and all into a tall glass.

You might be interested in the brand heritage. Here’s my review of the Grey Goose brand and its fascinating founder Sidney Franks: http://dasteepsspeaks.blogspot.com/2011/10/frank-about-goose.html
