Quick Review: Joya De Nicaragua Cabinetta Lancero

Quick Review: Joya De Nicaragua Cabinetta Lancero

Joya de Nicaragua is producing some really solid cigar blends these days, and one of my personal favorites has been the Cabinetta Serie. I have always loved a well-crafted medium-bodied cigar and this particular line delivers big in that category.  Just when I didn’t think they could get any better Joya went and upped the ante by introducing their  lancero version of the line. The lancero Cabinetta is a true Cuban lancero, in its measurements being 7.5×38. It’s construction utilizes the same dos cappas design where you get a Nicaraguan criollo wrapper on the top and an Ecuadorian shade grown wrapper on the bottom half. The binder and fillers are both still Nicaraguan and the construction is the same quality as the rest of the line, in other words a firm body, smooth wrapper, perfect burn, and excellent draw. Lancero’s are the perfect vehicle to savor the full tobacco strength of any cigar, and this vitola really highlights the leather, cedar, and cashew notes of the Cabinetta Serie. So if you are looking for the next evolution in the Cabinetta line and are into creamy medium-bodied smokes, then go pick up these cigars today, because I guarantee you that they will not be sitting on the shelf for long!
