Quesada’s Final Q D’etat to be Named…
We had the first inside look at what could be expected from Quesada and SAG at the upcoming IPCPR this year. The one remaining question at the time was “what would the final Q d’etat size be called?” The howitzer and molotov have already hit the market and with the vast amount of weaponry left to pick from, it was really anybody’s guess as to what the final Q d’etat could be called, until today that is.
According to a close source within the Quesada camp a price list has been circulating out to reps. On this new price list is the third size of the Quesada Q d’etat series and it is listed as “Daga.” The boxes will be of ten count size and the price points set to be around $9.75 MSRP.
As to what Daga stands for or if its the official name of the line, we haven’t been able to confirm it definitively yet, but Terence Reilly of SAG had this to say to Cigar Brief, “Because it is being released at the IPCPR we are not commenting on any details of the blend. Its meant to a surprise for the show.” He did go on to give us this bit though, “I can tell you only that its boxes of 10 and the blend is different from the other two sizes.” So while official name confirmation remains elusive at the moment, rest assured we will definitely be updating you as more info comes to light on this new Q d’etat line.
