The annual trade show is drawing ever closer and for most companies that means they are starting to shore up the final details on their upcoming product launches for the year. The folks over at Quesada are no different and they have a few extensions on the horizon for their smash hit the Oktoberfest. This rich and earthy cigar garnered much acclaim early in the year and quickly became the favorite of many of the cigar aficionados the nation over. Well get excited, because this year the Oktoberfest is coming back with a vengeance.
According to information divulged to Cigar Brief and confirmed by SAG the Oktoberfest “will be back again this year in a total of 5 formats. It’s the same blend as last year with 3 new sizes.” According to our source Quesada is planning on making 1,000 boxes each of the original 2 sizes , 500 boxes each of 2 of the news sizes, and 250 boxes of the other new size. This is about 3 times as much as was made last year but is still expected to run out by the end of the show. As of right now Quesada is not quite ready to release the size information of these new formats, but I was told this information should be forthcoming by the end of the month. So stay tuned in the days ahead as new Quesada information comes to light and the sizes of the extensions are revealed.
