Cigar News: 262 Announces Revere Blend
262 Cigars announced not long ago their impending new line for the fall, Revere. At the time the press release went out 262 had this to say on their website;
“This August we will introduce the Revere at the tradeshow. However, the Revere will not ship until October or November. Riverside Cigars in Jeffersonville, IN will be hosting the nationwide reveal. Factory details, blend composition, and pricing will be released at a later date, but the sizes are as follows. Corona (5 1/2 x 44), Robusto (5 x 50), and Box Press Toro (6 x 54).”
Well today we can tell you a little more about the blend composition. The new Revere line will be a Nicaraguan puro made out of Esteli, Nicaragua. The blend composition, while a little ambiguous on the proportions of ligero, visa, seco etc. goes as following:
Wrapper: Jalapa Valley
Binder (Double): Jalapa and Esteli
Fillers: Condega, Jalapa, and Esteli
My guess is that the line will be a solid full flavored medium to full bodied stick based on its Nicaraguan pedigree, but without extra info on the blend composition at this time we will just have to wait and see. We will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
