Speculation abounds as the approach of the IPCPR in Vegas (July 17 – 21) draws near. For those of you who don’t know about the IPCPR, it is essentially the premium cigar show Mecca. Every year the manufacturers, brokers, and retailers come together, to buy, sell, and promote the latest and greatest in their tobacco products. The first bit of news this season that we have been hearing through the tobacco-filled halls comes from J Fuego. J Fuego has been burning up the industry with their new robust Sangre de Toro line and have decided to expand this line to the acclaimed 660 and “Originals” five- stick soft-pack size. The “Originals” vitola profile has been a favored size of the Fuego family in testing their products before production, and has now been passed on to the consumer as an interesting way to fully enjoy the rich tobacco of the Sangre de Toro in an economical package. While the details haven’t been finalized, the lines seem likely and have been confirmed by multiple insider sources.
