CAO to Release New Regional Release: Left Coast
General Cigar has been rolling out small batch regional project after small batch project. Each one is a different style and has been crisscrossing the regions across the US. First, there was the Gorda Gorda project that got the ball rolling, and then the Gorda Gorda project was quickly followed up by two more. Now the CAO arm of the General Armada is hopping into the fray with Left Coast.
Left Coast is the premium small batch release for the West Coast region. According to sources close to CAO it will be a trapezoidal shaped cigar that comes in boxes of 14. The cigar itself is a beefy and lengthy 6 3/4 x 72. As for the blend composition, it is reportedly wrapped in Connecticut Broadleaf, has a Honduran binder, and Honduran and Columbian filler. The CAO Left Coast production run will be limited to a small number of cigars like the other regional projects; somewhere in the ballpark of a few hundred boxes.
Stay tuned for updates as more will hopefully come to light about this project as it moves closer to its market release. We will of course, continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
