Although this Canadian Club mixology may look familiar, here are a couple more unique and simple recipes for the Dock No. 57.

Here are a couple simple recipes using Canadian Club’s newest creation, Dock No. 57.  According to Canadian Club, Dock No. 57 is a blackberry-flavored whisky “designed to help younger consumers finally graduate to whisky”.  The Dock No. 57’s full-bodied blackberry flavor and light whisky undertones make for an interesting  addition to a classic recipe. So next time you hear someone turn down a drink because they don’t like the taste of whisky, suggest they try one of these classic cocktails with a twist.

Canadian ClubCC Blackberry Lemonade

1 oz Canadian Club Dock No. 57 Blackberry

1 oz fresh lemon juice

1 oz simple syrup (1:1)

Splash cranberry juice

Lemon lime soda

Preparation:

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add whisky, lemon, simple syrup and cranberry juice. Shake. Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice. Top with lemon lime soda. Garnish with a lemon wheel and serve.

1 oz Canadian Club Dock No. 57 Blackberry

0.5 oz orange juice

0.5 oz lemon juice

0.5 oz red wine

Orange zest

Preparation:

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine whisky and orange and lemon juice. Shake. Strain into a martini glass and add red wine. Garnish with orange or lemon zest and serve.
