Basil Hayden & President’s Day Cocktails
This Monday, February 17th, is President’s Day and America will be honoring each of our Presidents, past and present, with a holiday created especially to recognize their achievements and hard work.
In honor of the holiday, Basil Hayden’s Bourbon teamed up with Chicago mixologist Charles Joly to create a cocktail to honor our very first President – George Washington.
Not only was George Washington famous for “chopping down a cherry tree,” but he was also a bourbon distiller himself. So to celebrate Washington’s presidency, 200 years later, we’ve created Basil Hayden’s Presidential Cherry Spice, which combines cherry flavors with the spicy trademark finish of Basil Hayden’s Bourbon.
